Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2007 mailbox move
I moved a mailbox from Exchange 2007 SP3 to 2010 for testing. Now I want to move it back to Exchange 2007. In Exchange 2010 I do not get the options to new local or new remote move. The commandlet new mailbox move isn't working. When I try to make the move
using Exchange 2007 I get the error

Hi,
To remove the mailbox from exchange 2010 to exchange 2007, please use EMS:
New-MoveRequest -Identity 'tony@alpineskihouse.com' -TargetDatabase DBPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. What is the format for DB? Do I need to put the server, information store, and database instance?
I have tried this command a couple of times using just the name of the DB (DB01), and the request indicates that it was accepted successfully. It then shows up in the management council as pending -- but never actually moves.

Hi Tracy,
The move will be performed in background. We cannot move a mailbox if it is still listed
under "Move request". You can clear the move request then the 'new local move request' will be available when you right click the mailbox:
1. Open exchange 2010 EMC, expand to Recipient configuration->Move request. Make sure that all move requests are completed.
2. Right click Move request and click “Clear Move request”. Then you will be able to re-move the mailbox.
Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. Thanks
