I deployed exchange 2010 that coexists with exchange 2007, after configuring legacy host name according to this article: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd351133.aspx (under" how to create a lgeacy host name") When i open a outlook on a client that is on old or new exchange server, it keeps asking for "user name and password", even if i enter corret UN and PW, it still pops up and wont connect. Would anyone be able to help me with this? Thank you in advance

You shouldn't get any prompts internally if the client is a member of the domain. That might indicate an issue with DNS or the SSL certificate. Autodiscover most likely. Will have nothing to do with the co-existance. Do you have SSL certificates in place? What have you done about the Autodiscover Service Internal URI value on set-clientaccessserver ? The public certificate should really be on the Exchange 2010 server, with a legacy host name on the Exchange 2007 server. The idea being that all users login to Exchange 2010, and get redirected to Exchange 2007. If you have different values for Autodiscover on all three servers then the autodiscover value will keep changing.
