I have 1 send connector on the exchange 2003 and email from 2010 is using that send connector. I created a new one on the 2010 side but email is still going through the 2003 send connector? do you have any suggestions on what i can do to make this go through the 2010 side?

On Exchange 2003 it's called an SMTP Connector. Make sure that the new Send Connector is NOT a scoped connector, because that will prevent Exchange 2003 from using it. Also make sure its address space is "*" (without the quotes). On the Exchange 2003 SMTP Connector, change the address space from "*" to "clownpenis.fart". After routing recalculates, all outbound mail not targeted for *@clownpenis.fart or any other address spaces you might have on other connectors will route through the new one on Exchange 2010.
