Exchange 2013 ASR Directory Lookups

I currently use Exchange 2010 with Lync 2013. I was looking to migrate to Exchange 2013 and in doing so checking to make sure there will not be any pitfalls. I was quite surprised to read that Exchange 2013 no longer supports voice navigation for directory lookups in auto attendants. Is this accurate? Our Lync design is typical of a PBX which we migrated from. We have a couple DIDs pointing at an Exchange 2010 Auto Attendant where the caller can choose from a few menu options OR speak the name of the person they are looking to call. One of the beautiful aspects of Lync is using real names and not a meaningless extension number. But now in the next version of Exchange you can no longer speak the name of the person you are looking for, you have no choice but to use the keypad to spell the name of the person like a 1990 version PBX?

Am I missing something here or does that about sum
