Current senario Exchange 2013 CU1 runing on windows 2012 in coexisting with Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010.  Current Active directory is Windows 2008.

Promblem statement:

Exchange 2013 EAC + Member Of section to view not showing users group membership

unable view user group information in (member of) recipient property box. for some user its displaying member of details for some users its not showing group details.

Any seperation on which one gets shown? Like 2013 users are fine, but 2007 are not?

Please make sure exchange 2007/2010 users can't view group member or exchange 2013 users.

Please check if these users that want to view group member have the permission "organization management" and "recipient management".

You can use get-rolegroupmember "organization management" cmdlet and "get-rolegroupmember "recipient management" cmdlet to check proper permission.

Its  random for some user I am able view group membership, I am having all right orga magament/enterprise admin rights.

when I view user properties  Exchange 2013 ECP  some users group membership displayed properly for some I am not getting the user group membership.

Are you using any third party tool / interface to create new distribution / security groups and then add members to it?

Also, can  you confirm whether the security / distribution group does have a Simple Display Name property set correctly when you open the properties of those groups using ADUC (Active Directory Users and Computers) ?

I want update onething when check user properties of users through exchange 2007 management console I can view all groups he is member of, but in Exhcnage 2013 its showing membership for some users and for some users its not displayin group membership in memberof tab.

No thrid party tool used.

Hello,

I recommend you check if there are some differences for these group, distribution group or security group.

And check these group properties to make sure whether administrators have the read permission.
