Our organization has PCI requirements and mandates that passwords are changed every x number of days. What is the impact to the operation of these accounts and/or Exchange and given we're required to change the passwords at required intervals?

Thank you for your question.

It was determined by DC(Domain controller). DC will compute the number of days, when the limited was arrived, DC will let user account or Exchange to modify password, we could modify the setting by the following steps:

1. Open Group Policy Management,
2. Navigate Forest:domain.com->Domain->domain.com->Group Policy Object->Default Domain Policy,
3. Right click Default Domain Policy and choose Edit, then navigate Computer Configuration->policies->Window Setting->Security Setting->Account Policies->Password Policy,
4. Then we could modify the value of Maximum password age
