In Exchange 2013 OWA the option to select Private or Public computer is not precent as Default.

Running the following powershell command will enable the checkbox on the logon page.
Set-OwaVirtualDirectory "ex1\owa*" -LogonPagePublicPrivateSelectionEnabled $True

After running that command, the checkbox is there, but how do I get the check box unchecked as default. As it is now the option "Private computer" is the default one, but I would like to have it unchecked as "Public computer" as default.

Is this possible to do? I've googled a lot on the case but not found anything how to change the default setting for the Private/Public OWA.

Hi,

With Exchange 2013, the Public and Private options will not be visible by default.  The FBA page will be a simpler, clean login page. The default login will behave as "Private" login.  The setting can be changes with
Set-OWAVirtualDirectory - LogonPagePublicPrivateSelectionEnabled

As I wrote in my post I've already run the ps comman to enable the checkbox.

But I want to have the checkbox unchecked as default. As the option will be Public computer.

Has anybody figured out or located how to uncheck the private version from being default when the checkbox is showing?

Here is the link for 2010. I used it on 2013.   Just remove the word "checked" on line 214.  The file is logon.aspx on the Exchange 2013 server. Restart IIS.
