Exchange 2013 issue while adding 2nd Node
Hi everyOne, I am struggling with a strange issue now for more then a week :( I have installed 2 CAS and MB servers on hyper-v virtual Machines. I have created DAG CNO as Microsoft Article with required permissions and rights. Now the issue is i can not add more then one node. For example while creating DAG if i add MB01 its getting added successfully and i can not add MB02 but if i add MB02 first then i can not add MB01. I have make sure there is no firewall no antivirus, DAG server are in same site with same Subnets, OS version and patch level are same on both the machines. Even MB virtual Machines having different MAC addresses. A server-side database availability group administrative operation failed. Error The operation failed. CreateCluster errors may result from incorrectly configured static addresses. Error: An error occurred while attempting a cluster operation. Error: Cluster API '"AddClusterNode() (MaxPercentage=100) failed with 0x5b4. Error: This operation returned because the timeout period expired"' failed..

More of a cluster network issue, Make sure the IPs are correct and have the right binding order. Make sure your user had the permissions to create objects in AD etc, check cluster logs and reply with appropriate.Sharique 'W@rbuG' Ahmed. 2 b or not 2 b

I am having the exact same issue. Tqureshi if i may ask when you added the IP address for the DAG, did you also add that name in dns with the corresponding IP?
