Dear all,

I have a question about using the nameserver with my exchange domain so here is the information in short

I want to : - Be able to receive emails from multiple aliases and accounts into my exchange server that is located on 8X.2X.X.X the service is fully running and I am able to telnet to that address over ports 25 110 140 etc.

- I want the exchange to be separate from the mydomain.de domain which already has email service (running) but I want the emails that are sent out from my exchange account to go out as x@mydomain.de

Domains mydomain.de and mydomain.eu are nameservers hosted online.. mydomain.de points to the existing mail client on the hosting and mydomain.eu points to my mailserver on 8X.2X.X.X

I have made my private ActiveDirectory DomainControler and named the domain mydomain.de , Ive added another server (exchange server) to it and now my domain (named also mydomain.de) and the users in my domain have the addresses X@mydomain.de , but am unable to send emails out.

I can forward mails sent to .DE to .EU but if my mailbox name is for example test and it is @mydomain.de will the mails sent to test@mydomain.eu arrive to my exchange ?

My exchange server is using my domain controller as DNS.. how can i prevent conflicts in name resolution for my local domain and the domain online with the same name.. 

Is it possible to do the above? Maybe using receive/send connectors? If yes can you please help me set this up?

To stop outside servers start thinking that your 2nd server is spoofing, add the server to the SFP list on Public DNS along with the original x@mydomain.de server.
(Not a mandatory requirement)

You can send email as any domain from your Exchange Server, but would gradually be blacklisted, if you don't do above or if you send spam ofcourse.

It doesn't matter where the incoming MX record points to.

You can have server A, Server B receving @gmail.com and Server C, ServerD, ServerA sending out as @gmail.com all from any AD domain(doesn't really matters)

You are identified by the SFP and the MX  records only.

You need to use "Internal Relay Accepted domain" on premised maybe or on the hosted whichever is easier for you.

Just one thing that j.doe@mydomain.de cannot exist on both locations to receive email. Only one can receive and the other needs to get it forwarded or receive it on other alias.

Didn't quite get what you meant by

Are you saying you don't want the emails to be delivered to the hosted service, but only to your Exchange On-premises. If that is the case simply point the MX record to your Exchange org.

If you want selective, some users who are having account in your On-prem should recieve on Exchange and other mailboxes who doesn't exist on your On-prem should be redirected to the hostedOnline service - Use Internal Relay.
