Greetings all, I recently purchased the Webwasher 500 appliance from Secure Computing. I have the web filtering functions working properly so I know that I can communicate with the appliance. I have spent a large part of today on the phone with Secure Computing and they assure me that the appliance is configured properly to send and receive email. In fact I can see inbound/outbound email in its queque. I configured an SMTP connector that points to the ip of the webwasher and the mail does arrive there. Inbound mail also arrives into its queque. However, that is where it stays. A little on the configurations follows; ASA 5520 internal ip; 10.9.1.2 Cisco 2800 series G router 10.9.1.1 Webwasher 10.9.1.4 Exchange server IP 10.9.1.27 GW 10.9.1.1 SMTP Connector 10.9.1.4 Inbound email arrives at the ASA which then sends it to the Webwasher. Webwasher then processes it according to several filters. Webwasher then sends the mail directly to the Exchange server through a routing rule on the appliance. I don't know if this is enaough information for you or not. I will be happy to supply more. If I have posted in the wrong spot, please repost to the appropriate area.
