Ok, I found the folder after running the wizard, this folder does not contain the stripped attachment. I have checked by my McAfee Webshield and GroupShield, which have passed the email through without error or detection.Message tracker shows that the email has been delivered successfully.Could the Outlook client cause this? Where else in my setup could the file be?

Hello,
Exchange 2003 doesnt contain removing attachment feature, but SBS 2003 does. It can be configured at To do List | Internet Connection wizard | last page.
Outlook cant do the procedure you mentioned. You could confirm it by visiting OWA. If the attachment is garbled there too, its a server side issue.
Please disable the third party software on the server temporarily, if the issue disappear, I suggest you contact the third party software vendor for further help.
If the issue is confirmed as a SBS issue, I suggest writing a post on our SBS newsgroup:

Thanks,
Elvis
