Exchange 2k3 Standard with SP2 Service and Support
I am looking for a couple of suggestions to deal with my Exchange 2003 standard server in a native 2k3 environment single domain. I am looking for an Exchange expert in the Central Florida area to consult on exhcange issues we have been having. I am also looking for suggestions on hosted email. We are a 75 mailbox single domain company, and I am not sure that hosting our exchange server in house is a smart financial decision anymore, especially with email retention becoming a huge issue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply Todd. I have not! Do they compleatly host exchange and provide retention? Can an existing exhcange mail store be transfered to the hosted service?

it can host all of it, exchange, office, sharepoint, crm and more to come.as for transfers i am unsure but it would make sence for you to be able to do this.i've just finished an exam on it for work so we can start flogging it, yet alas i am in the uk so i can't sell it to you...lol

BPOS is one suggestion given but hosting Exchange on premise is not uncommon, in fact, its the norm. Moving to Exchange 2007 SP1 Standard from Exchange 2003 eliminates the database limitations you may encounter. Exchange 2007 SP1 also offers roles that can be split across servers, for 75 users I do not see this being the case. You can also look at virstualization with Exchange 2007 SP1. Many ways you can attack this and bringing in a Exchange Certfied Consultant is not a bad idea if you need assistance. Look for a Microsoft Certifed Partner in your area and ask them if they have Exchange experts on staff.MVP Exchange Server
