Hi, I'm a new administrator supporting a small shop running exchange 6.5 sp1. The mailbox store ran out of space a number of times in the past and each time an off line defrag was run to get it back online. Now the defrag is not regaining much space and the store remains online for only a few minutes. I have a few questions: The current size is 12 GIG. It should be able to use 16Gig but it fails at 12. Does anyone have any ideas on why I'm only allow up to 12 gig? Also, any suggestions on how to get out of this mess.... Thanks Silvio

Hi Silvio, Whats the error you are getting in event log? If you are using Exchange 2003 SP1 Standard edition then install SP2 and follow below article to increase database limit to 75 GB.
