Exchange ActiveSync Client License
Hello, my company is on EA program with Microsoft. We are on Exchange 2010. We have license for Exchange standard server, Exchange enterprise server, Exchange enterprise CAL, WinPro, CoreCal, Prodesktop. I would like to know how does the license for ActiveSync work? I read that it is a default feature in the exchange enterprise server. How about the client license? Must it be purchased separately or it is part of the CAL features that we are subscribing to?

Hi You need a standard CAL for every mailbox in the organisation and this covers all the supported client connection methods to that mailbox. Cheers, Steve

Thanks Steve for your reply. What about the mobile device? What kind of CAL is required?
