That's the number of SMTPVirtual Servers that Exchange could use, but it's not the number ofdomains it can manage. The number of domains is way bigger than that.---Rich MatheisenMCSE+I, Exchange MVP--- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

AFAIK there is not any limit for standard edition, however there would be some upper range limit on creating mail domains but it shouldn't be too less like 4. Major differences of editions are listed out there but don't have anyexpatiationon limitation while creating accepted domains in standard edition. Also, can I use my 2003 exchange cals with 2007? I would confirm CAL info by calling to Microsoft Licensing expert... Licensing Phone Support:http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/pur/phone.aspxAmit Tank | MVP Exchange Server | MCITP: EMA | MCSA: M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

Thanks to all for the information. Rich, I'm sorry as I may not have worded my question correctly. The maximum number of storage groups for E2003 is 4 not counting the RSG.
