Hello everyone! I have Full-Text indexing set up on our Exchange 2003 server and I want to enable to ability to index PDF files. I have the directions I got out of Exchange 2003 24 Seven by Jim McBee. I am able to open up the Search MMC console, but when I try to go to the properties for the Exchange index the console disconnects from the server and I get the following error: "Unable to connect to host <servername>. the application called an interface that was marshalled for a different thread" Some articles point to a problem with Ixsso.dll registration, tried unregister/register and no solution. So, how to index pdf files using Full Text Indexing of Exchange 2003? Thank you!

Hello Zi Feng, already followed that article, with no results at all. The problem happens with srchadm.msc from MSSearch folder, the 'Search' Snap-In. It is not connecting with the Exchange Full-Text Index which is already working, so I can't add PDF content to it as recommended on the IFilters from Foxit and Adobe. The index name is correct, event log is fine, just the connection won't happen with that error: ""Unable to connect to host <servername>. the application called an interface that was marshalled for a different thread" Thank you!
