Sir, I am using exchange 2007 and using Outlook 2007 as client email. I have problem searching contact from GAL using keywords. For example, let say the user name is Mani Maran s/o Vijay So we arrage this name like this in exchange 2007. First Name: Mani Maran Middle Name or Intial : s/o Last Name: Vijay email: m_maran@abc.com So the display name will be Mani Maran s/o Vijay So when i search "Mani" or "Vijay" i get the contacts but when i search "Maran" it is not matching with any result. That means the outlook only detects first partial from first name and first partial from last name. I wanted search by keywords Any help thanks regards, Mani

Hi Mani, You could use advanced find in address book page. It can distinguish first name/last name, Outlook only detects first partial from first/last name. The situation you described is by design. So far as I know, there is no way to search by keywords in Outlook. Thanks, Elvis
