Exchange Hosting
Hi,We are a service providing organization. Now this year we are planning to start Exchange Hosted service from our data center along with DR. We are at very initial phase of designing the E2K7 (CCR with DR). As if now, the plan is for 6K usrs with atleast 4 different clients. What can be the best recommendation on this?Any inputs and documents will be very helpful.Raj

You will want to start out with the common Exchange 2007 design guides, but you might want to look into the Microsoft Hosted Messaging and Collaboration 4.5 documentation. This shows an architecture for the solution along with a provisioning system. There are a number of software vendors that can provide solutions built on HMC for provisioning and administration portals. This way you won't have to buy your own. Also you might want to compare reselling the Microsoft BPOS solution, if it is available in your area, as that requires very little investment on your part.http://exchangeexchange.com

Thanks a lot Joel for the reply. We already have three data centers in place with required Infrastructure, so we will be doing every thing at our own data centers.I have seen the HMC 4.5and looks a good optionhow ever we have our own help desk system and team, so probably even self provisioning for the client is not required. So i have a very initial level design in my mind with CCRon W2K with Geo Cluster. Playing bit with ADSIEDIT and UPN suffixes. Most probably OABs and GALs and then RPC over Https for the end users. Please comment on it and let me know if i missed on some thing?Raj
