Exchange Issue
Recently when moving users over to a new domain, Microsoft Exchange would not work for a few users in cache mode. A new domain controller was placed to handle this departments active directory. They are using an exchange server that is set up in another
domain, with no trusts between the two, but is still on the same network. A new domain was given to this domain. The problem is when we moved the users over to the new domain and copied over there items in their old profile and there email accounts were set
up in there new profiles, a few of their email boxes would get hung up in cache mode. We did not copy their OST's, rather we created them from scratch on the profile. This happened to about 6 mailboxes of the 50 that were created. Whenever they tried to create
a message or open the address book it would pretty much freeze the entire computer. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this? Thanks. dmg

From your description it seems that you've done several things that would break Outlook-Exchange connectivity. Suffice it to say that your entire method is badly flawed. Maybe I worded it wrong sorry. If connectivity was lost, wouldn't outlook not work in Cache mode either? So long as there an MX record on the DNS Server shouldn't it be able to resolve the name and communicate with the exchange server. The outlook profiles
configured and downloaded their contents. Than after a couple of days a few of them would get hung up. I would appreciate any help thank you. dmg
