Hi,Not sure how to solve this problem but you might just disable the service if not needed:http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/810489Leif

Hello,You check the drive where MTADATA folder has been located. The dafault path of MTADATA folder is c:\program files\exchsrvr\mtadata. If you are not having any exchange 5.5 server in your environment you can ignore the service Microsoft exchange MTA Stacks. Thanks,Vinod

Hi,
I think culprit, ACSE.TPL was missed from MTADATA
1. Confirm the MTADATA\RUN path from registry. HKEY-system-current control set-services-MSEXCHANGEMTA-parameters-MTA RUN directory
2. Go to RUN directory and check ACSE.TPL that its there or missing.
3. If it is not there there replaced this file from any other server, Make sure creation date should be 02/02/1998, Though below MS article says replaced *.TPL file from exchange compact disc but its only worked for me when i replaced ACSE with 02/02/1998.

4. Restart the MTA resource.Dinesh S.
