Have you try SUKH's sloution? Please post the result.
If can't help you, please change the diagnostic logging level for Transport and Store Driver, then reproduce this issue and check the relevant Event.

I am working on moving the mailboxes to a new database now. Will test again when complete.

Getting the following error sporadically, usually when a task request or appointment is involved. Found some articles about Exchange SP2 correcting this problem, but we are on SP3.
Exchange 2007 SP3 RU5
SBS 2008
Outlook 2010 SP1 (both clients)
