Hi We have just moved from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 and find that we cannot see/read the body text of any HTML messages received into our public folders. If we forward the messages to other user mailboxes the message appears Ok, and when I actually saw a message coming into a public folder, I got a split second glimpse of a logo before it disappeared. we are using Outlook 2007, Outllok 2010 and Outlook for Mac 2011 clients Anyone any ideas please on how to fix this? Thanks

No we have switched off all three - GFI Mail Archiver. Clam AV and APC UPS monitor problem still persists We have sent 10 separate messages from external email accounts to these mailboxes ( problem affects all 6 mailboxes). We see the message coming in and then after a short period of time (this seems to vary, on Outlook 2007 it is immediate) on Outlook 2011 is takes a couple of minutes) the body text disappears. We have switched off all of the third party programs but the issue is still there Thanks A

Hi, Do you mean the problem only happen to 6 mailboxes? Can you read the message by using OWA? The problem could be caused by the corrupted mailbox database. Try to create a temp database and move the problem mailboxes to this temp database. Then move the mailbox to the original database. During moving the mailbox, the corrupted database wil be fixed. Hi - the issue happens to all our 6 public mailboxes. the issue does not happen to our user's own mailboxes. Over the weekend I carried out some specifc tests whilst no-one else was on the network: HTML message sent to public folder on SBS2011 View in OWA from client running Windows XP, Windows 7, or Mac OSX clients using Firefox browser - no issues View in OWA from client running Windows XP, Windows 7, or Mac OSX clients using IE 7, 8 and 9 browser - no issues View locally on mac OSX - using Firefox browser - no problems View locally on Windows XP running Outlook 2003 as part of Office 2003 - HTML text is displayed as standard text file and embedded image is removed totally View locally on Windows 7 running Outlook 2007 as part of Office 2007 Enterprise SP2 - HTML text is removed totally. Embedded image is converted to attached image. View locally on Windows 7 running Outlook 2010 as part of Office 2010 - HTML text is removed totally. Embedded image is converted to attached image. View locally on MacOSX running Outlook for Mac 2011 as part of Office 2011 for Mac - no problems On windows machines, no difference was found when we switched off all non Microsoft products including our AVG AV Problem has only existed since upgrading to SBS2011 Thanks A

Hello Alex, I hope you are running the Exchange 2010 SP1 with all the latest Rollup Updates! I am sure the problem is with the mailboxes itself. Did you tried to move the mailbox? Hi Thanks everyone for your posts. After about 4 hours remote access from Microsoft and installation of various updates including Rollover 3 v3 for exchange 2010 SP1 (?) the problem was traced down to an add-in that the client machines AVG anti Virus had added. As soon as this was unchecked, and Outlook restarted, all was weell. Thanks everyone for your suggesions Much appreciated A
