Exchange SMTP Connector in Queue
Is it normal to have like 50-60 SMTP Connector listed in the Queues from different domains? I have many of themand they all say "Retry" and some have multiple number of messages but they are from unheard of domains.Thank you,Win

I think there's a good chance that those are probably NDRs generated by spam with forged From: addresses.

Yes you can by pass barracuda... but why barracuda blocking those email? have you done any recent changes to the firewall or exchange? How about if you relay those messages from the Exchange to the another IIS SMTP Service box using seperate SMTP connector with "*" address space and see if those messages goes out of exchange and sit in that IIS BOXArun Kumar | MCSE - 2K3 + Messaging | ITIL-F V3

How you get it to go to the Barracuda is going to depend on how your set up. Does your Exchange server and the Barracuda have public IP addresses? If so, which one does your MX records point to?If they have private addresses and there's a firewall doing address translation, which one is the address translation routing the mail to?

Our exchange server is connected with LAN and WAN, so it does have a public ip, but the barracuda is only connect by the WAN switch. I noticed in my Sonicwall that there are many of these..

That's getting way more involved than I'm prepared to diagnose in the forum. To answer your original question, you can delete those messages by block selecting them, right-clicking, and choosing Delete (no NDR).
