Exchange Server/Outlook 2007, meeting organizer not showing updated meeting time on calendar.
I've had a couple of different administrative assistants mention this problem to me. They create an appointment/meeting, and send out invitations. They then update the time, and send out the update. Everyone receives the new time, but it doesn't show up on the originator's calendar as being updated. These users are running Outlook 2007, 12.0.6514.5000 - Exchange is version: 08.02.0176.002.Any suggestions? I guess I'll builda test account to see how often I can re-create the problem.Thanks.J

I'm having this same issue.. And it is reproduceable; My company uses different versions of Outlook; 2003 and 2007. On the server we have Exchange 2008. For a public calendar we made a 'Public Folder' which has a calendar. So this is what happens; Lets say I make an appointment in the group calendar, inviting myself and two colleagues. whenI presssend,I ghet the followingmessage which could have something to dowith it; Responses to this meeting request will not be tallied because this meeting is not in your main Calendar folder. Is this OK? We all accept the meeting, and it shows up in all of the calendars including the group calendar. But my colleque think a other time would be better so he opens the meeting, and changes the time. He clicks send update, and the second colleque gets an update butI don't which means the meeting is moved, but I'm not aware of it.Any help?

Well, a sort off update...Because the calendar was in the public folder, it had no email possiblities.. For Room reservation we have to use Room mailboxes (realy handy! NOT!!!) and we still can use the public folder calendar for appointments were no-one is invited. We have 6 meeting rooms, this means we have to go from 1 calendar to 7 calendars, and change the way we handle these meetings and bookings.. If I want to see which meeting room is free, I have to use the planning assistant , and manually add each room, instead of just opening a calendar and seeing it right away..So, In my case I was trying to fix something that is a Feature, and not a bug..
