Exchange Server 2000 w/ Office
These questions are actually in reference to a home network setup - not a business or corporate, so bear with me! :)What versions of office will work with Exchange Server 2000? Will the newest versions of office, such as 2007 still work with the old exchange servers? In addition, there is a product I found called Windows Home Server. Does anyone know if that comes with or supports any versions of exchange? Is there even a version of exchange designed for home use? Thanks!

I'm not totally sure if Outlook 2007 will work with Exchange 2000. I couldn't find any documentation quickly to verify. It says 2007 doesn't work with 5.5 so I would think it would work for 2000. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc178996.aspx Windows Home Server is more for backing up and sharing files not for Exchange use. There isn't really a Home version of Exchange. The closets thing is to use Small Business Server. This has AD and Exchange as part of the product. I would start with that.Mark Morowczynski|MCT| MCSE 2003:Messaging, Security|MCITP:ES, SA,EA|MCTS:Windows Mobile Admin|Security+|http://almostdailytech.com

Note that its not always about "working", but rather support.
