Exchange Server 2003, can't access OWA
Hi all, I've a SBS 2003 Server, OWA does not function anymore, OWA has been working for several years. I get error 404 when I try to access the OWA. I've also tried to delete and recreate the virtual directory using this kb: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;883380 but the virtual directory were not recreated (I've waited 15 minutes and rebooted the server), I've recreated the virtual directory from a backup. Anyone can help me? Application & System log are clean, all other server functionality are working fine

I've installed service pack 2 and now the procedure: :http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;883380 has worked and the virtual directory have been recreated. I've checked twice the virtua directory security settings but I cannot still access OWA, from the outside I get a http 404, from the inside a recevice a dialog box prompting for a password but I can't access, I've tried 1) username - password 2) domain\username - passowrd 3) username@domain.local - password but none of theese have worked.

Hi, Since we only discuss the Exchange issue on the pure Exchange product environment in this forum, I suggest you create a new thread in the SBS forum. Please understand that SBS Server has integrated all functionalities on a single box which will require the SBS related knowledge which we do not have enough resource. Thank you for your understanding. For your reference, I have enclosed the SBS forum link below: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/smallbusinessserver/threads Meanwhile, I would like to share you some Exchange article to troubleshoot the issue. Troubleshooting Outlook Web Access logon failures in Exchange 2000 and in Exchange 2003 Configuring Outlook Web Access Thanks, NovakPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.
