Exchange Server 2003
We have been getting weird delays on email. Everything seems to be set up correctly. When I track an old message that was sent on August 22nd, this what I get:
9/10/2008: 3:24 am SMTP: Message Submitted to Advanced Queuing
9/10/2008: 3:24 am SMTP: Started Message Submission in Advanced Queue
9/10/2008: 3:24 am SMTP: Message Submitted to Categorizer
9/10/2008: 3:24 am SMTP: Message Categorized and Queued for Routing
9/10/2008: 3:24 am SMTP: Message Routed and Queued for Remote Delivery
9/10/2008: 3:24 am SMTP: Started Outbound Transfer of Message
9/10/2008: 3:54 am SMTP: Message Transfered to (email address) from SMTP
There is nothing telling me what happened between August 22nd and September 10th. The user did not receive a delivery delay alert.
When I track delivered messages, they begin with:
9/6/2008: 5:24 p.m. SMTP Store Driver: Message Submitted from Store
This top line is missing from all of the undelivered mail. Any ideas?

Hi,
Did you check whether any delay email hung in Outlook folder?
Please let me know the way of submitting the email, SMTP or Outlook?
Look at the event log and find value information, then let me know.
Thanks
Allen
