Exchange Server 2003 Global address list
Hi Please can anyone update me on the reason for client outlook mail not displaying newly added users names on the global address list (despite, the new user not being hiden for address list distribution during creation). All previous user names on the AD/Exchange still display on the outlook global address list, but not the new ones just created, with no event view definitions concerning this anomaly?

That is because of Replication between GC's. But you can pull the GAL update via Outlook follow the below steps Start outlook click on Tools ->click on send/receive ->click on Download Address Book then click on Ok Vinod |CCNA|MCSE 2003 +Messaging|MCTS|ITIL V3|

Your Outlook client is most likely configured to use Cached Exchange Mode (Tools, Account Settings, Change). In that case, you need to update your Offline Address Book (this happens automatically once a day). You can also force a download: Tools, Send / Receive, Download Address Book.Jon-Alfred Smith MCTS: Messaging | MCSE: S+M
