Exchange Server 2003 Message Tracking-Viewing the Actual Email
I would like to know how to view an email once it has been located in the "Message Tracking Center" in Exchange 2003. In Exchange System Manager, I go to "Tools", then "Message Tracking Center", then input the "Sender" and "Recipients", and I can locate and track messages, but I don't see how I can actually view the entire email. I have seen this done but I can't figure it out. Our HR department wants the actual emails for an employee investigation. Help! Thanks!

You can't view the actual messages using message tracking. If they want to view the actual messages, then they need to journal them or access the mailbox itself.

Another option is that you could use ExMerge to extract/copy the message out of the mailbox into a PST. -Matt
