Exchange Server 2007. Unable to access existing user mailbox
I am unable to re-connect an existing user mailbox during the setup in Microsoft Exchange Outlook. It continues to ask me for the password. However the mailbox is linked to the domain user login and I can log in with no issues there. When I try logging in via OWA the following message appears with the details below: Outlook Web Access could not connect to Microsoft Exchange. If the problem continues, contact technical support for your organization. I have attempted changing the password and restarting the Microsoft Exchange Information Store with no effect. No other users in the organisation are having the same problem. Please assist.

I tried a couple of ideas on that page to no effect. I've even created a backup user and tried linking the mailboxes but the following error appeared: "Cannot display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook cannt access the specified folder location. The operation failed. An object cannot be found."

Did you try moving the mailbox to another store?

I've tried disconnecting the mailbox and then re-connecting it. Still no luck. I only have one storage area for the mailbox.

Hi, This problme could be caused by the corrupted mailbox. Please try the following steps: 1. Give the full access of this mailbox for Administrator. 2. Use Administrator account to open shane.goalder's mailbox: a. Open OWA, log into the administrator's mailbox. b. Click on Administrator name in the upper right corner of the window, type in shane.goalder to open the mailbox. What's result? If the issue persists, you may need to create a new mailbox for this user. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. Thanks
