Exchange Server 2007
Hi AllThis is Raveesh Katiyar.. I am a new in exchange server 2007. Following are my scanerio-1. I have configured a Windows Server 2003 SP2 32-bit version as Domain Controller (name- raveesh.com, system name- domino, Full name - domino.raveesh.com), no organization unit, no forest.. smiply install active directory and created user,s on.2. And i have configure a new server with Windows server 2003 SP2 64-bit and make a member of domain controller i.e. xchange.raveesh.com full name...3. I have install .net framwork, powershell and IIS asp.net all prerequiest of Exchange Server 2007.4. Now i am going to install a Exchange server 2007 SP2 on xchange.raveesh.com5. When i was run the setup.exe or A. setup.com /PrepareAd or B. Setup /PrepareLegacyExchangePermissions C. Setup /PrepareSchema (or setup /ps)D. Setup/ PrepareAD on domain controller for prepare active directory for exchange 2007.I am not able to run ....Please help......Thanks in Advance...

Ravi,Looks like you have issues with AD. Run a DCDIAG /v /e and nltest /dsgetdc and dsgetsite from the command promt. Post the results here.Raj

Hi, I am trying to install Exchange 2007 on one of my servers. When I press "Next" in the Introduction screen, it gives me the following error: " The Exchange organization name is invalid. Message: '{335A1087-5131-4D45BE-3C6C7F76F5EC} is not a valid value for Organization Name. The value must not contain any of '~', '`', '!', '@', '#', '$', '%', '^', '&', '*', '(', ')', '_', '+', '{', '}', '[', ']', '|', '\', ':', ';', '"', ''', '<', '>', ',', '.', '?', '/' "

Hi, We need to delete the invalid value first and then re-install. Please follow the steps below to solve the problem. 1. Please take a system state backup on a Domain Controller. 2. Please open ADSIedit.msc and then delete CN=Microsoft Exchange under CN=Services, CN=Configuration, DC=<root domain>. 3. Please try to install exchange once again. Note: When we run The exchange object will be recreate in AD during /PrepareAD.
