Exchange Server 2007
Can someone tell me what sort of hardware configuration would beneeded to run Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 SP1 ? What CPU(s) are needed and memory configuration ?

This would all depend on your organization needs, amount of users, mailbox usage. The way to do it would be with the calculators.

Thanks for the reply but can you tell me what processor will MS Exchange install on ? Does it require two processors in order it to install ? Like the Titanium processors ?

This is an excerpt from the System Req's. Single, Dual or Quad Processordoesn't matter, it's up to you and your Org size.
Supported:
x64 architecture-based computer with Intel processor that supports Intel 64 architecture (formerly known as Intel EM64T)
AMD processor that supports the AMD64 platform
Intel Pentium or compatible 800-megahertz (MHz) or faster 32-bit processor (for testing and training purposes only; not supported in production)
Unsupported
Intel Itanium IA64 processors not supported
