Exchange Server 2013 Preview with Server 2012 cannot send emails nor receive
Here is my problem:
I had a test lab running server 2008R2 with HyperV and Exchange 2010 and using a outside source for the send connector (smart host). I do have a firewall Cisco ASA 5505 so the firewall is configured properly. I wiped out everything and loaded
2012 Datacenter and ran HyperV for Exhange (exchange has 2012 standard on it). I followed instructions to the tee on how to install Exchange server 2013, making sure the prerequisites were installed in the proper order. The problem I am having
is I can't receive or send any emails at all. I see the requests come to my firewall and allow them in. The server is just not accepting. Windows firewall is turned off on both domain controller and the Exchange server, and I am not running
ForeFront..yet.

Hi
Can you telnet the server on port 25? Have you configured the accepted domain(s)?

If mail isn't being delivered on the server then you should see it in the queues. Are all the services running? Any errors in the application log?

You can use powershell to monitor and manage queues (here are some examples)
- start with get-queue
