Exchange Server Reboot Anomaly
Whenever I restart our Exchange server, once windows is reloaded, an alert box is presented stating that the previous shutdown was unplanned and asking for a problem ID number. Anyone seen this or have suggestions as to the cause? Windows Server 2008 R2 with Exchange 2010 and Office 2003/2007 clients. Thanks Phil

I´d say this is a question for the Windows Server News Groups. Try here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-us/windowsserver2008r2management/threadsJesper Bernle | Blog: http://xchangeserver.wordpress.com

Hi, Do you get any error ID at all? Are there any events just prior to the reboot that might bring som light into the situation? What kind of setup is it? If you have a stand alone server check the RAID software to see if there are any issues with the controller, and if it's an IBM with RSA check if there are any errors reporting on that. /MartinExchange is a passion not just a collaboration software.
