Exchange Setup Multiple Sites-Single E-Mail Address
HiWe are a group of companies all individually owned that would like to use the same email address to make us appear national i.e @nationalgroup.comWe have no links between sites as they are all individually owned. So my question is, is this possible so that we all receive and send using the same email address domain name? and if so how? I think it is possible but I just cant get my head around how it would work so if anyone has any papers on it, that would be great.I hope Ive explained it correctly!thanksMark

Hi Mark,So as you are saying , the sites are not connected , so probabaly you will be using RPC over Https or OWA. Yes you can send and recieve emails from the same email address. As you know that , as soon as you are on RPC over Https, its just the authentication thats reqd from the AD, and can send and recieve email.Just check the primary SMTP address for the users and check for proper stamping of SMTP addresses.Raj

Hi Mark, Would you please let me know whether you have a single Exchange Organization host several companies or several Exchange Organizations which share same address space. If you have a single Exchange Organization host several companies, as Raj explained, you can have remote site users to access message through RPC over HTTPs or OWA. If the sites have their own Exchange organizations, you can refer to following article: How to Configure Exchange 2007 to Route Messages for a Shared Address Space http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb676395.aspx ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mike Shen TechNet Subscriber Support in forum If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb @ microsoft.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
