Hi, I have a Windows 2003 Doamin that I have upgraded from 2000. I currently have 1 domain controller and 1 member server that I intend to install Exchange on. When I try to install exchange on the member server it fails on the Forest Prep part. I then tried to setup the Exchange Server on the Domain Controller and it installed just fine. Is there a reason why it will not install on the member server? I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

Hi, It is difficult to say without a little more info. When running forest prep you must have Enterprise and Schema admin rights. Now that you have installed Exchange on the DC you have done the Forest prep and Domain prep so maybe now try installing Exchange again on the member server and let me know how it goes. Cheers Nathan
