Exchange Store search vs Exchange Search
Hi
I have been reading up on Exchange Search here
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232132(EXCHG.80).aspx
We have a situation where some users in Online mode are unable to search their Outlook. I was going to look into rebuilding the index for that DB, however I have read that there is also the Exchange Store search which is mentioned in the above article.
Is there anyway to get them to use that instead?

Hi Sheen,
It is impossible .
The search functionality in Exchange 2003 (content indexing) is replaced with Exchange Search in Exchange 2010
and Exchange 2007.
Exchange 2003 search is the Exchange store search.
The most difference is Exchange 2010 Searches the content index created by crawling the mailbox database,
While Exchange store search searches the store.

Ok so there is no Exchange Store search possible with Exchange 2007? I thought that users could use that as fail back if Exchange Search was not available.
