Exchange WebDAV: How to detect moved items?
Hey, So we are doing a synchronized catalog of a user's exchange store using webdav. One item which I'm having trouble figuring out is how do you distinguish when an item is moved versus just "new". It seems on the 2003 exchange server we are testing against, that when you use the UI to move an item, all of the properties of the item change (dav:id, uid, permanent url, etc.). How do you then tell that this item has moved? The best solution I can come up with is to compare the new state of the exchange server against the old to see if there is an addition that matches an item that is no longer in existence, which is quite expensive. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks much! -Bram
