I'm looking for a way to install just the cmdlets and not the GUI. I have tried and got pretty far, now I get this error."The type initializer for 'Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Directory.Globals' threw an exception.". I have read on another web site that a installer was available for just the cmdlets, but I haven't benn able to find it. Any help is greatly appreciated!Norm

Hi, Not sure why you would want to do this but have you considered to install the management tools and then just remove the console (this would most likely be a supported installation)? Leif

I have written about 50 scripts to go with a VB GUI being done by another person. Our help desk currently uses ADUC to manage user/computer accounts. With the exchange tabs being removed from ADUC, we wanted to give then just a single place to do what they need. Hence all the script writing and developing of the VB GUI. We currently have it so that powershell gets installed with the GUI and the scripts. Which is why we want to install the cmdlets as part of that install. If we only had a few stations to do, it wouldn't be bad. but we have 20 to 30 help desk staff world wide. Our other choice is to build a terminal servers and have them RDP to do there work.Thanks!Norm
