Exchange connection issue
I'm running an SBS2003 with Exchange2003. Occasionally during the day, Outlook will report it is trying to resolve a connection with the Exchange server. There is a lot of internet traffic in our office, but the exchange server is on the internal network. Shortly after the connection problem appears, another bubble appears to report the connection has been restored. This will happen on my system 3-4 times a day. Since it is on the internal network, what could be causing the drop in connection?

This is more of performance issue and you need to collect lot of data to trouble shoot this.1. Check if this happens on all the VLAN's.2. Check the performance monitor for all the counters on RPC.3. Run Netmon from the Server and one of the client at the same time and see where is the RPC request failing.4. Check if it is happening at the same time and also if there is any activity on the network at that time (file transfers on FTP or soem thing like that).5. Check how much CPU and Memoru is utilized by store.exe at that time.Raj
