Exchange database and disk free space
Hello,I have this problem, my edb database file has 31 GB. On that disk i have only one more folder (around 700MB). Disk has 100GB, but still i get message that Disk space is low (5% left). There is nothing else on this drive, logs are on the other drive.Does anyone know what could cause this and where are other 70 GB?

Have you emptied the recycle bin? I would also check for any hidden files? Mark Morowczynski|MCT| MCSE 2003:Messaging, Security|MCITP:ES, SA,EA|MCTS:Windows Mobile Admin|Security+|http://almostdailytech.com

Recycle bin is empty and i have also checked hidden files. There is nothing that could take this much space. Any other idea?

I am new to exchange 2007 but I was thinking that maybe this could be caused by the deleted file/mailbox retention. I think by default it would be 14 days.

Yes, this is a Windows server issue rather than Exchange, suggest you write the post on our Windows Server forum.
