Hello, What is the alias used for and when/where I see it displayed as when client send new e-mails they are seen by their Display name. What is the scope of having an alias ? THank You

Ok have seen them but for an end user knowing the alias of another contact is not important and from what I understood it is simply there to make things work smoothly and not to be used instead of the name or for any other special reason. So making an alias for a user to vvv or zzz would not make any difference at all since other users do not need to know it. please explain if understood incorrectly
