We are getting the following error message while sending out emails to "specific domains only". It happens to random domain and it started happening after the power failure at our facility and the message is never delivered. "Delivery is delayed to these recipients or distribution lists: xxx@hotmail.com Subject: test This message has not yet been delivered. Microsoft Exchange will continue to try delivering the message on your behalf. Delivery of this message will be attempted until 1/23/2011 8:22:03 PM (GMT-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada). Microsoft Exchange will notify you if the message can't be delivered by that time."

Hi, Make sure that internet connectivity is through, run nslookup for the remote domain, make sure server queues are normal & also check event logs see if you can find some error.Ripu Daman Mina | MCSE 2003 & MCSA Messaging

Hi, Its looking these messages were in process when you lost power off. Please suspend queue in queue viewer and then verify it. Also try to send mail thru smtp command and then test it. Anil

The messages are sent after the power came back up and it's throwing those messages. There is nothing in the queue and no errors/warnings in event viewer. What else can be the issue? Thanks for your help.

Hi, Does the issue occur on certain Exchange user mailbox or each mailbox when trying to send out the message? Does the issue only occur on Hotmail user?
