Exchange for internal use only.
I have been asked by a friend to do something I have never done before, set up an exchange server for internal use only? It is a law firm that does not want internet access at all. They want all of the features of an Exchange/Outlook setup with no access to the cloud. I know it should be possible and relatively simple also but can anyone give me any pointers? Thank you so much! Good answer from last month by Mike Shen http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=3448901&SiteID=17 For Exchange 2000/2003, you can configured the Send Connector to block some users sending emails externally from Exchange Server. For your reference: Restricting Users from Sending and/or Receiving Mail via the Internet http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/MF009.html For Exchange 2007, you can control outbound mail by using Transport Rule: How to use Transport Rules in Exchange Server 2007 http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Transport-Rules-Exchange-Server-2007.html Mike
