I have been getting this message and first can not get anyone to agree where it's coming from and second can't seem to find an answer to it. Here is the messageour client's customer receives when trying to send this to our client and as a test, also to us. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great, if you can tell me exactly what's happening that would be fantastic and greatly appreciated. Thanks. Your sever (myaddress.com) is reporting back to you that it attempted to send the message out to the client (clientscustomer.com), but failed. The client server returned the 554 Message Denied error back to your sever, noting that the attachment within the original message is the issue ("Restricted attachment"). Test connectivity with a basic mail message (no attachments, no encryption). Once you verify mailflow, then enctryption (and test), then attachement (and test). See where the issue lies. If you need to send to this customer always, ask them to put your Domain Nameon their 'Allow' and/or 'Safe Senders' list. Better yet, if you both have Exchange 2007 servers, you may set up TLS encrytion between your domains. Let us know if this helps. Best Regards, Jeremy

OK, I did what you said about testing connectivity, and Ireceive messages from them until they attach the encrypted document, then I get that error. He can send me a document with no attachment, and with a Word attachment. So, it's not that the user is being blocked, it has to have something to do with the type of attachment, the encrypted document. Thanks for your help.
