I'm trying to install Exchange 2010 on Hypver-V. Hyper-v is running on Windows Server 2008 R2 Ent. I've tried installing all the roles but it didn't work. I've tried installing only the mailbox role it didn't work. Hard Disk are fixed hard drives. I've no idea what am I doing wrong?

what type of logs, i see old logs in this folder nothing new, though I can a number of logs i.e. message tracking logs and connectivity logs.

The c:\ExchangeSetupLogs should tell your why the installation failed. Can you post the output.

i tried many times to copy and past but the file is more than 2 megs and it doesn't copy here.

Hi Vministrator, Base on my research, the error “Service 'MSExchangeTransport' failed to reach status 'Running' on this server” may happen when you disable IPv6 in Local Area Connection, but not disable it in the registry. For this issue, you can resolve it by these ways: 1. Enable IPV6 in Local Area Connection. 2. To completely disable IPv6 on a Windows Server 2008-based computer, follow these steps and add a registry key: a.Open Registry Editor. b.Locate the following registry subkey:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip6\Parameters c.In the details pane, click New, and then click DWORD (32-bit) Value. d.Type DisabledComponents, and then press ENTER. e.Double-click DisabledComponents, and then type 0xffffffff in Hexadecimal or 4294967295 in Decimal.
