If all the above fails? Check event Logs and post errors Run ExchBPA to see if anything obvious needs to be done. Also, consider upgrading to SP3 and rollup 3 for Exch 2007. Sukh

Hi It apears like there is some problem in the default email address policy. Can you confirm, you haven't perform any operation on default email address policy. make sure it is enabled. What about the service health of this server? Can you past the full shell command that is apearing on the last page, while create the new mailbox on this server?

Hi Ahmad Thank you for the details I hope you are reconnecting a disconnected mailbox. first we will check whether the disconnected mailbox is in what state using Get-MailboxDatabase | Get-MailboxStatistics | where {$_.DisconnectReason -ne $null} | ft displayname, database, disconnectreason -auto What is the status for disconnect reason for Omar.Popal? is that disabled or softdeleted If it is disabled, we can reconnected using the below shell command. Connect-Mailbox -Identity "Display name of your Omar mailbox" -Database ''ICT-SVR.crm-ais.com\First Storage Group\Mailbox Database' -User omar.popal -domaincontroller "mention your DC" And do perform the above steps in your mailbox server, where omar mailbox is in disconnected state (ICT-SVR)

What do you mean there is no policy? Do you have the same issue when creating new users and mail-enabling them? Same for existing users who dont have a mailbox? Sukh

Hi Sukh Actually the reason for disconnecting user was that the employee was on leaving his job due to some reason he came back and joined his job back during the time he was not here i decided to disconnect his mailbox so when i try to connect it back i can't it failed even i can't create a new mailbox. for the polcy i tell you that the default policies are applied. from the troubleshooter i found out two error in result that is as follow: cannot contact domain controller: The domain controller specified 'crm-ais' cannot be contacted or is not a domain controller. cannot contact exchange server: The specified server 'ICTS-SVR' cannot be contacted.

Did you run the ExchBPA? If not Run this and post back your results which are relevant. If those errrors are when you try tp perform you actions, then the issue seems to be with exch talking with DC. If possible, can you restart the AD topogy service and check the event logs. Sukh

Hi ahmad, Suggest you install latest Exchange 2007 Service Pack and Rollup first. Can you create a new mailbox ago? Did you migrate Exchange 2007 from legacy Exchange? Please run the Exbpa in the Toolbox to do a Health Check. Please check whether there is any related error/warning event in the Event Viewer. Frank Wang
