I know there are many articles around, but each of them seems to have their own configuration, so I would like to explain to you what I understand about Autodiscover and hope that someone will jump in and correct me. 1. Install Client Access Server role, the Autodiscover virtual directory is created. 2. The default autodiscover URL will be something like https://example.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml or https://autodiscover.example.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml 3. An a host record will have to be added to DNS as autodiscover.example.com with IP address pointing to the CAS server. I will continue as I understand more.
