When the server runs a backup we always do it like saterday night , i see a problem on sunday not every sunday when we have runnend a backup but sometimes , it looks like that the exchange server is going down not directly like the server is on but exchange is down , do i want to get the exchange server working again i have to login remote and send a email to a outside email adress and then the exchange server is working again? same with the webmail server.It looks like if the exchange server go's sort of standby after i run a backup maybey somebody now this issue . If i look the logs of the backup no problems ?

What software are you using to run the backups, is it on a remote server and what type of backups are your taking? If you are using scripts can you post the script contents here?
