Exchange server utility
Does Microsoft have a tool available to check for corruption that works like scan pst but is applicable to the entire server?

Hi, No, MS hven't such tool. By the way, in an exchange server, users mailboxes are stored in a mailbox database (.edb) not pst files. Best regardsBest Regards Don't forget to mark it as answer if it helps

No, MS hven't such tool. That is incorrect. There is a tool that can scan the Exchange database. The tool is isinteg and is part of the standard Exchange binaries. However it should be used with care because any kind of work on the database is likely to lead to a loss of data in the database. Isinteg should not be used on Exchange 2010 sp1 onwards.

Isinteg should not be used on Exchange 2010 sp1 onwards. As no version has been stated, it is impossible to know whether that is the case or not. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources | In the UK? Hire Me.

Hi Cccdude, In an exchange server organisation mailboxes are stored within one or more database files. Tools most commonly used for checking, defragmenting and repairing these database files are known as ISINTEG & ESEUTIL. Both of these tools are covered in the below article. I hope this is of some use for you.... http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/exchange-isinteg-eseutil.html Kind Regards
